G-Cows should work on every Unix or Linux system. It's developed on FreeBSD and extensively tested on various Linux distributions, openBSD and netBSD.

The latest versions have been tested on the following systems:

• Linux:
  • Fedora Core 4
  • Fedora Core 5
  • SUSE Linux 10.0
  • Slackware 10.2
• FreeBSD
  • FreeBSD 4.11
  • FreeBSD 5.5-BETA4
  • FreeBSD 6.0
  • FreeBSD 6.1
• OpenBSD
  • OpenBSD 3.8
• NetBSD
  • NetBSD 3.0

Older versions have been reported to work on Mac-OS and Windows (under Cygwin) too. I have no informations about later versions on these platforms.
